My name is Marisela Tiguila Calvo, I work as a paralegal with Contreras Edin Law, PA. I was born in Minneapolis, MN but spent my formative years living in Cusco, Peru with my grandparents. Spending time with them introduced me to so many unique experiences, one of which being the opportunity to volunteer in the women’s shelter my family helped establish.

I graduated from Hamline University with a major in Legal studies and a certification from their paralegal program. My work in Contreras Edin Law, P.A. has provided me the chance to give back and advocate for those within the immigrant community. My main goal is to become an attorney so that I can create change and help fight for those who cannot fight for themselves. During my free time, I enjoy reading, drawing, and having game nights with my family.
