Luz Lopez Rosas

My name is Luz Lopez, I’m a legal assistant at Contreras Edin Law, PA. I am the proud daughter of Mexican immigrants, hardworking and resilient like our clients. I know firsthand how complex and difficult dealing with the immigration system is and it’s mainly why I enjoy working with clients as they navigate their cases. I feel that it’s one of the ways that I honor the sacrifices my parents made to give me a better life.

I studied Political Science at St. Cloud State University and am working towards attending Law School in the near future to become an Immigration attorney. Even though I am not there yet before coming to Contreras Edin Law, PA I dedicated my time to immigrant rights advocacy as a community organizer in the Twin Cities and Central Minnesota.

In my free time I dedicate myself to my plants and painting. I love going for walks in national parks and spending time with my family.
