My name is Jennifer, I’m currently a bilingual receptionist & Intake specialist at Contreras Edin Law, PA. I was born in Phoenix, Arizona, to parents from the beautiful state of Sinaloa, and we moved to Minnesota when I was nine years old. Growing up in an immigrant household has given me a deep understanding of the challenges many of our clients face.

Before joining Contreras Edin Law, I spent six years working in childhood education and earned my Child Development Associate (CDA) credential. I also have experience as a receptionist at another immigration law firm, where I became familiar with immigration processes and developed strong customer service skills. While working with children was incredibly rewarding, my true passion lies in advocating for immigrant rights. Seeing the hardships my parents endured has fueled my commitment to supporting others in similar situations.

I feel privileged to be part of the team at Contreras Edin Law, where every day is an opportunity to grow and make a meaningful impact by helping families stay together. I’m excited to continue learning and contributing to the firm’s mission, with the goal of advancing my career in immigration law.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring new culinary experiences as a foodie, watch documentaries, and dancing.
