ISABELLA LARCO

Isabella Larco is a Paralegal at Contreras Edin Law, where she works on a wide variety of immigration cases before USCIS and the Immigration Court. Her primary goal is to address clients' immigration needs by providing comprehensive and personalized support.

Born in Ecuador, Isabella is bilingual and fluent in Spanish and English. She earned a Law Degree from Universidad de las Américas (UDLA) and is a Licensed Attorney in Ecuador, where she also obtained a minor in International Humanitarian Law. In 2024, she earned an LL.M. in U.S. Law from the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota after being awarded a distinguished scholarship.

Isabella has a strong background in Corporate Law and Human Rights, gained through her experience working in the legal departments of multinational companies like PepsiCo and Nestlé. Her interest in human rights deepened in 2022 when she participated as a delegate at the National Model United Nations in New York, representing the International Organization for Migration (IOM). Additionally, she has worked with vulnerable populations through UDLA’s pro bono legal clinic, assisting with high-priority legal cases. Her skills include litigation, legal research, and writing.

As an immigrant herself, Isabella understands firsthand the challenges and importance of receiving support while navigating the immigration system. This motivates her to commit to every client, ensuring they feel supported and heard throughout the process. Isabella also strives to provide tailored legal solutions that address the unique needs of each case, working with empathy and dedication to help clients achieve their immigration goals.

Currently, Isabella is preparing to take the New York Bar exam, aiming to continue supporting immigrant communities, expanding her impact as an attorney in the United States, and contributing to strengthening justice and equity within the immigration system.
